Director's Message
Dear Friends and Benefactors,
God has blessed each of us abundantly—our families, opportunities, health, and resources. True gratitude is expressed when we share these blessings with those in need, especially the poor and abandoned. The tribal communities of Jawhar and Mokhada continue to face immense challenges, struggling for education, employment, healthcare, and basic-necessities.
Sharing Our Blessings – Bringing Hope to the Tribal Communities
As we journey through the Jubilee Year 2025, a time of grace and renewal for the Church, we are reminded of our call to be "Pilgrims of Hope"—bringing light to the lives of those who need it the most. Inspired by the Strenna 2025 of Salesians of Don Bosco, "Anchored in Hope, Pilgrims with Young People," we are called to walk alongside the youth and the marginalized, empowering them with faith, education, and dignity. Just as Don Bosco transformed the lives of abandoned youth with love and patience, we too must be agents of hope and change.
BSVS Walvanda – A Mission of Love and Service: At Bosco Samajik Vikas Sanstha (BSVS) Walvanda, we continue Don Bosco’s mission of uplifting the lives of tribal communities by providing them with dignity and hope. Our key initiatives include:
Technical Education & Skill Training – Equipping youth with employable skills for a brighter future.
Child Education & Support – Ensuring quality education and holistic development for children.
Women Empowerment & Self-Help Groups – Strengthening financial independence and leadership among women.
Farmer Welfare & Sustainable Agriculture – Promoting eco-friendly and self-sustaining agricultural practices.
A Call to Generosity – Be a Light to the Poor: As we celebrate this Jubilee Year of the Church, let us live out our faith by sharing our blessings with those in need. The Salesian spirit calls us to transform lives with love, patience, and hope, just as Don Bosco did. Every act of generosity—big or small—can bring education to a child, skills to a youth, or stability to a struggling family.
The mission of BSVS Walvanda is not just ours—it belongs to all who believe in a just and hopeful future for the poor. Your support can help transform lives and anchor the youth in hope, ensuring they walk with dignity toward a better future.
Join Hands with Us in This Mission: Together, let us be pilgrims of hope and walk with young people, just as Don Bosco dreamed. Let us ensure that no child is left uneducated, no youth is left unemployed, and no family is left struggling alone.
With prayers and gratitude,
Fr. Jesu Robinson, SDB
