On a joyful and refreshing outing, around 30 shelter boys—both senior and junior—from Wadala, Mumbai, visited BSVS Walvanda for a day of recreation, fellowship, and connection with nature. Accompanying them were the Rector, Fr. Rudolph D'Souza, and the Administrator, Br. Allan Netto, along with the German volunteer who added warmth and enthusiasm to the occasion.
The boys were excited from the moment they arrived and were deeply touched by the serene natural surroundings of Walvanda. Away from the busy city life, they had the opportunity to experience the beauty of the countryside, breathe fresh air, and enjoy the peaceful environment. One of the highlights of the day was the swimming session, where the boys had great fun splashing in the water, swimming, playing games, and cheering one another. Their laughter and excitement filled the atmosphere with joy. The picnic at BSVS Walvanda turned out to be a memorable and enriching experience for the boys, leaving behind beautiful memories, happy hearts, and renewed energy.
