BSVS Walvanda had the joy of welcoming 17 Salesian novices from STI Nashik for a one-day outing and exposure visit. The group was accompanied by the Novice Master, Fr. Wyman Gonsalves, along with other Salesian confreres. The visit was marked by fraternity, learning, recreation, and a deeper appreciation of the Salesian mission among the tribal communities.
Upon their arrival, the novices were warmly welcomed at the community and were given an introduction to the house and its mission. They had the opportunity to tour the campus and visit the Technical Institute, where they observed the skill training programs and various educational initiatives being carried out for the empowerment of rural and tribal youth.
The day was also filled with moments of recreation and fellowship. One of the most enjoyable parts of the outing was the visit to the dam, where the novices had a refreshing swim and spent quality time together amidst the beauty of nature. The novices returned to Nashik enriched by the experience, inspired by the mission, and grateful for the warm hospitality and meaningful exposure at BSVS Walvanda.
